Lottery Process
Students who do not reside within this school's neighborhood boundary or those joining us for our Open Optional Program need to apply through the school lottery system using the "Apply" links below. If your child already attends Eagle River Elementary as a result of the lottery, there is no need to reapply each year; they may continue attending until they age out of our school or until they withdraw into another school/program.
The Spring lottery opens for applications on February 1st, 2026 and close on March 19th. The lottery will run on March 20th, and notifications to families will be sent the following week. After the results of the lottery are released, families have 2 school days (48 hours) to accept or decline their spot. There will be a second lottery that will open in the weeks prior to school starting. Please be on the lookout for more information about the second lottery in the future!
