Library

Welcome to the Eagle River Elementary school library.

‌Eagle River students visit the library once each week for a formal lesson, and students may visit the library during Open Library times to return borrowed materials and check out new items of interest.

Lessons in the library support and reflect classroom instruction and meet the State of Alaska's Library and Information Literacy Standards and the Anchorage School District's standards, benchmarks, and indicators.

Eagle River Elementary School Library joyfully accepts contributions that meet the school district's selection policy. We have a wish list at Amazon.com to help you choose something for us.

Please consider supporting the library's two fundraisers:

  • Scholastic Book Fair in the fall and the spring during parent teacher conferences.
  • Boxtops for education from General Mills all year long.

You may want to visit the Eagle River Library website for more detailed information and many useful links.

Thank you for being our literacy partners.
